I have a quick question, not sure if anyone can answer or give me some input. My m/c was in Jan. My cycles have been so messed up 30 days one month, 24 the next, 29 the next, and luteal phase changes within 3-4 days every month, heavy periods, lots of clots etc. I have mid cycle spotting and all types of things. Well this month I had AF, and 13 days later i have AF again...I got to thinking and was thinking about issues with progesterone and looked at the paperwork from when my dr did blood work, the day the blood was taken was after ovulation and it was 0.85ng/ml. Isn't that really low for being after ovulation? I goto the dr Wednesday and am going to bring it up to him but just wanted to see if anyone here had some input.

I.m not sure. Why was it done straight after ovulation? There must be a reason for why its usually referred to as a day 21 test (7 days after ov). Best ask the doc and tell him/her your not happy and want further investigations.

don't want to worry you but i have read that endo causes AF to stop and start.

if that was a 21 day progesterone test it was very low would mean you had not ovulated, but if your cycles vary so muhc maybe it was done on the wrong day?

Yeah I was talking bout day 21 for progesterone. My private FS says it should actually be your peak day +7,as everyone ovulates differently.

Just about anyone can have endo. My cycle is pretty much fine, but as we're so far unexplained I'm going in for a lap and dye soon to see if there is endo and whether or not tubes are open.
