Question For You Expericenced Moms

i agree with amy, i would def. buy quite a few sleep suits and vests in newborn and 0-3 then a few bits in 3-6. it all depends on your baby, maddi was over 9lb 3oz at bith so wasn't in new born for that long, but i didn't realise quite how many sleepsuits she would wear. i would also suggest lots of burp cloths, they were great :)

katie never went in newborn! she went straight into 0-3 and was in 3-6 by 3 weeks. i didnt buy much 3-6 thinking she wouldnt be in them for long and she's still in them now!!

The newborn things i bought were all about the same size as the 0-3 she seemed to wear those for a while. I bought a bit of newborn and a bit of 0-3 and when she was born i used next online for whatever i ended up needing :)

thanks a lot girls! i'm glad to hear you guys are having nice size babies, i was one of those kids that wouldn't grow

I think it depends on the baby but also shops vary a lot in size, Jaymee is a big baby she was wearing 3-6 months at two weeks old in some of her clothes, but, she is 4 months now and still fits 0-3 from some shops and 6-9 from others! lol!

Dylan was 9lb 6 at birth and hes still in newborn now, just. I've got loads of 0-3 month stuff and some 3-6month, but beginning to realise i might have gone overboard on newborn clothes. I havent dressed him in a proper "outfit" yet, and i think he'll be too big now, so that was a waste of money. Id suggest getting the basics (vests, sleepsuits, etc) in each size nb, 0-3 and 3-6 and buy the clothes when theyre here.

I would say perhaps a little bit of newborn so that your baby isnt drowned in cotton when he/she arrives but mostly 0-3. You will get more wear out of them.

I'd say any size really - once your baby is out of newborn clothes you'll find you have nothing, then they grow again and you have to go out and buy more!!!
