Hi Ladies,

Just here for a bit of advice really. I'm on my first cycle of Clomid and am due AF this Friday however for the last few days I've had really bad stomach pains - pretty much feel like AF pains.

Yesterday I had slight discharge when I went to the loo - only on toilet paper (sorry TMI!!) and this morning I went to the toilet and there was a larger brown/ watery colour and really bad pains throughout the night.

Definitely thought the :witch: had arrived as still got pains but still only slight discharge when going to toilet.

I am normally a regular 28 cycle kinda gal but I seem to remember other people on Clomid saying that their cycle was shorter/ longer...

Any advice from peeps currently on Clomid or previously used it would be appreciated.

I really think AF is on its way but I'm 2/3 days early so

Heya hun, sounds like i'm a week ahead of you! I've just started round 2 of clomid. I found that i had crampy pains before AF arrived, and (apologies for TMI!!!!) it lasted 2/3 days and was yucky brown, not the regular deep red (Sorry!) I normally last for 5/6 days, so was also quite surprised that it only lasted a few.

i remember a thread on this forum last week about how clomid affects AF, and i think the general consensus was that it does - shorter for some, longer for others and change in colour.

Hope that helps, good luck with round 2!

Clomid shortened both my cycle and my luteal phase on the first round, so expect anything. :hugs:

I am on my 2nd round of Clomid. I would test. Sounds like you could be pregnant too.

Thanks for all the advice girls! I have still got pains but no sign of proper AF - will wait until the weekend before testing I think as I'm sure its gonna be here by then :(

Good luck to you all on your next rounds of Clomid - hope this is the cycle for all of us!

:dust:

xx
