Questions for BFing Mums....

My baby polishes off both sides no probs! I know to change him when he starts getting all agitated and coming off and on the boob (and it's not for a burp.)

The lactation consultant helped me loads and she said I had very "little storage space" aka tiny boobs so this might be why some people need to do both sides.

This is what Amelia does, i am going to the breast clinic tomorrow but it does make sense having smaller boobies!

Pretty much every feed (except 1 a night) she has both boobs.

Does your LO start crying and screaming when he finishes one? is that when you put him over to the other?

sorry for all the questions its just Amelia only just started doing this in the last couple of weeks prior to that she was feeding 1 boob for about 10mins max. Now its both boobs 10/15mins on each one.

Kaitlin only feeds for around 10 mins, she is gaining weight fine so Im not worried. she fusses about alot soemtiems and will have a bit of a nap/break then have some more. When she has gone longer between feeds , she will feed for a bit longer, more like 15 mins.

No it's not really crying it is latching on doing a few sucks, coming off making a little shouty noise, latching himself on again and repeating, getting just more annoyed and then the whole body shivering if I leave it.


my baby has been doing this since 2 wks old.

when he finishes the 2nd side sometimes he will go back on the 1st and get something since its sometimes an hour since he stared fedding so I have filled up a bit again.
