Hi ladies!

I had my six week appointment and talked about everything under the sun except the burning questions I have about my body post-birth  lol. Toooootally forgot about this stuff while I was there but because I was distracted by the midwife saying I look like I healed nicely and all's good.

1. I am still sore, perineum and bum. I'm taking sitz baths which help but I notice I'm much more sore following a walk and the soreness extends into my low abdomen. Normal? Kind of feels like a pulled muscle.

2. When is it okay to start doing sit ups?

3. I am single so there's no issue about sex... but what about just simply having an orgasm? I haven't tried anything by myself first of all because I've had no drive to and second of all because I am terrified it will hurt like hell, but I did hear somewhere on the internet that having orgasms can be just as good as kegels at helping to tone things back up down there. I think I suck at kegels because I can never tell if I'm doing it right so I was contemplating the orgasm thing but I just am sooo scared to even try. What's anyone's experience with this?

4. When will the freaking hemerroids go away!? Lol

Sometimes it takes longer than six months to heal, so I think you will start feeling a lot better in a few months. I really do think it just takes time to get 100 per cent better and healed but it does sound normal. I got that type of pain that you describes but it went away after about a month but I did have an easy delivery no tears or grades etc. So I suspect it may take longer to heal in other women.

Sex and orgasms are completely fine after six weeks, no worries there you won't damage anything at all.

And haemorrhoids- I didn't experience these so you may have to wait for better replies but if they don't go in a few more weeks id suggest getting some treatment?
Sorry I couldn't be much more help!

Oh and sit ups if you're feeling well with in yourself there's no reason why you should wait x
