Hi Ladies! i'm sneaking over from 2nd tri a few days early but figure more of you will know about ante-natal classes etc.
I'll be having an elective c-section on the 3rd of july with my little boy due to bad tearing in my previous delivery.
I've never had a c-section but from reading birth stories etc i have an idea of what will happen.
Do you ladies have any suggestions for questions i should ask at my antenatal class later today? is there anything you wish you had known about or asked before you went in for your section or that you would want to know if you were having one?
I know i want to ask about:
skin to skin as soon as he is born
epidural or spinal block (i've had a spinal block before so would prefer that)
the class is specifically for c-sections and post-natal care after the c-section so I want to go in with as many questions that i may not have thought about already to be as prepared as i can be.
