Maybe you should post this in the relationship section??

i'm sorry but this section is for hose already single parents - I hope you understand

Thanks

post in the relationship section x

but even tho u and ur oh arent working u cant expect both sets of grandparents to buy your babies things. and yes his family sound awful but if u dont want anything to do with them i dont think u should except the pram...which is a good thing to have bought for u.

and if his name is on the birth cert then he has just as much right as u do to ur baby. grandparents also have rights now but u dont have to make any short of effort for them

Surely you would qualify for the £500 sure start grant before the baby is born?

Maybe you should use this free money to buy the prams etc then you wouldn't have to go around begging your/his parents for money.

id call ur local jobcentre and see what they say, altho because ur 17 i dont even no if u can get any kind of benifit. call them and get a appointment

Also, don't rule out good quality second hand items - most of my baby stuff isn't new, which saved me a fortune, but it's all clean and great quality!
