Hey gang,

My angel care monitor has arrived today, in the instructions it says "The sensor pad must rest on a completely flat & rigid surface. Place a 6mm plywood to cover the full size of the crib base"

Our cot has a slated base (like most) - now many of you have done this with a piece of wood? Is it really necessary - will it not work/have false readings without it?

Hi, we just have ours in the slated base not had any problems we even used it in the Moses basket although I don't think you're suppose to!

we've got ours on a bit of ply never tried it with out it but shouldnt see why it wouldnt slats arent that far apart and ours itsnt flat either Amelia has her cot raised but 10cms

Gem x

Used ours in the moses basket, travel cot & normal slated cot ...all fine :D

Our cot has a wooden base and is flat, no need for ply, works brilliant

Yep, worked great in the moses basket too and now in the slated base cot. :D
