I thought one morning my baby's soft spot looked slightly raised when he was on his changing mat - it's normally a tiny bit indented so this was unusual. He was about 3 and a half months old. It didn't seem to go down when I lifted him up (I think it can get slightly raised when baby's crying or lying down). But he also seemed a bit off colour so I was thinking all sorts of things.
I booked him an appointment that day with the GP. He checked him over and didn't feel his soft spot was particularly raised but he measured his head and told me to get the nurse to check it out the following week.
She did, and everything was fine. But I was really anxious about it. I'd say if you're not feeling 'right' about it, give your HV a call or make an appointment with the GP. I'm sure Evie's fine though
