Rant!!!

Like an idiot I ventured into the regular TTC section and found a thread where someone got married in Oct 2008 and was TTC since and is now happily pregnant. What's wrong with ME and why can't I get freakin' pregnant!!!
I'm not going back into that section again!!!

It is so frustrating

I rarely go into that section because when I do it just depresses me sometimes I think 'nah, i'll be fine' but something usually annoys me. Its not the girls in there are all, its just the situation that us girls in here are in and it sucks

I found out last night that someone we know is expecting their first in July. They only got married in bloody September. Oh well. It wouldn't be so bad if I actually liked this person. He's a complete price, but I've never met her, so can't comment.

Some people are lucky and have a family with ease, others are less fortunate and take years and years for it to happen - and for some it won't happen at all. It doesn't make it hurt any less though, but I guess that's just the green eyed monster in us all.

It is so frustrating

I agree! It's not the girls in there at ALL...it's our situations that make it worse and we can't help feeling a little...or a LOT jealous! LOL!

Ok, so this is how I deal with girls that get pregnant straight away (no matter how nice they are!)

I imagine that when they have their babies, they're going to be up all night being sick, pooing, crying and just be generally unsettled little babies. This is simply because their mums and dads had no bother in ttc! lol

Whereas when us ltttcers have our kiddies they'll be fabulously behaved, smell like baby powder at all times, sleep through the night and are generally perfect!!

I reckon that everything surely must balance itself out ie. if we have a hard time now, we'll have an easy time when our babies are born. If you have an easy time ttc, then surely you'll have a hard time when they are born!!

That's how I make myself feel better anyway lol

One of my best friends told me last night that she is pregnant, I am pleased for her as i love her but i am also jealous but can't show it. My poor friend has had a rough ride in life and desrve this more than than anyone i know, certainly more than me. I think what got to me is that she met her OH a year and a half ago (whilst on holiday with me and my Dad!), I was already trying for a baby at that stage and was just starting to worry it was taking a while. My friend got pregnant the first month, I am 2 1/2 years on with nothing. I don't think it will happen for me. I had my chance in my early twenties and blew it as my then boyfriend talked me out of it and i had a termination.

Oh well. Stay away from the TTC, it is too upsetting. I wouldn't dream of going there anymore!!

I used to be a TTC section regular but eventually the 'BFP after 1 shag' and 'my snot is green, am I pregnant?' threads drove me away! But I look back fondly, those naive days when I thought I might be one of those lucky lot who got preggo within 6 months.

I don't mind too much when other's get pregnant. It's when selfish, rude, obnoxious, useless people get preggo that it annoys me. Especially when they weren't even trying (apparently!). *sigh*
