It might be a little thing I've blown out of proportion and I'm sorry for creating yet another thread to rant in.
The father of my baby keeps saying how I push him out of everything and don't include him and there are reasons behind this [his immaturity and inability to accept responsibility etc] but yesterday I drove 2 hours to see him to hand over a very belated birthday present and card [haven't seen him since before his birthday] and the scan photos from the 12 week scan. He didn't even look in the bag when I handed it to him and I went and sat in the car [where my mum was but she wasn't interfering, just there if I got tired driving back] and we watched him walk off and not even glimpse.
He then text me about 10 minutes later saying that's for the birthday present... that was it. I think maybe it's a big thing to me because I recently found out that he text me mother saying he gives 110% to me and the baby... well... my maths is pretty bad but his 110% is way off base. It just frustrates me sooooooo much.
He keeps saying he wants to be there for the baby but he never phones/texts/whatever me to ask how I am doing with regards to the baby. I didn't want him at the scan which he understood and afterwards he asked how it went and I literally said "Yeh it went really well" and bam, end of that conversation. Whereas in contrast his mother kept asking me questions about the scan, how it went, how the midwife was and general chit chat.
Major rant over for today. I think it helps to type it out so again, sorry for another post.
