I posted in LTTC/AC but no replys
Anyway, I met with my consultant today to discuss RMC. My bloods, our genetic bloods, Thyroid (even though its been removed) are all fine so basically there is no medical reason for my RMC.
Told him I was pregnant again and cramping like MC cramps. He says I have an increased chance of MC again since I've not allowed my body to heal and he got the nurse to take my bloods to check HCG levels. Asked if he thought my eggs were to old (I'm thirtyeight) he says not till I'm 42!!!!!! just felt fobbed off and I'm currently RAGIN.COM, so much so I came home and went straight to my bed
I've to take asprin and they will monitor me at 7, 9 & 12 weeks and that's about it. God I've spent months reading on the internet (naughty I know
) looking for answers, no mention of the stuff I've read about, ie Natural Killer Cells, crap sperm, testing of eggs if you're older.
So for me girls, I'm going private just for a consultation with a guy who runs the Glasgow Reproductive Medicine Centre, it might be worth a 2nd opinion and it will only cost me £155. If this consultant suggests anything different then I can see him on the NHS at another hospital.
Rant over!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just off the phone to EPU, my HCG levels are down to 10, which isn't a surprise due to all the cramps I've been getting. Seeing my private consultant on the 27th Feb so I just need to remain focused
