I get pains sometimes in my upper back, usually its from sitting and laying wrong and it makes it really sore. My back is constantly hurting and just keeps getting worse. So ready for this child to be term and get out! lol

I get this to it's so painful! I either end up on my hands and knees making my back really flat or leaning forward over the back of the sofa or my exercise ball for some relief. It's very hard to get away from.

I get it too.... I always assumed it was ba posture with the added weight of massive boobies!

yes I get this especially on the left side. I used to get it when I was a bit heavier and not pregnant and it went when I lost weight! Now that I'm pregnant and carrying extra weight the pain is back, so it must be associated with carrying all that baby in front.

Although I also have gallstones and get it all over my shoulder blades and upper back if I eat anything fattening. OMG that is painful! x

awww must be common then
thanks ladies
will have to put up with it :happydance:

OMG I get this, laying flat on my back on the floor or stretching out on recliner is only way it eases in me, or oh rubbing my back. I can stand walk sit too long coz it overtakes everything. I had an abdominal ultrasound last fri coz a cnsultant said baby mite be laying on/around kidneys causing pain? Ppl think Im going into labour when it peaks coz i pant to take edge off lol

yea i get it too, standing for around an hour is one trigger for me,or sitting next to an ignorant sod who takes up 1&1/2 of the chair on the bus so im sitting knock knee'd to try stay on -my MW said 'its posture' but no matter what i do i get it  OH giving me a really deep backrub helps alot...he just doesn't like doing it :haha:

I had horrible shoulder and upper back pain about a month ago. It was so painful, I could barely sleep. I took lots of warms baths and took it easy for a couple days and it passed. I think it was either inflammation or a pulled muscle. Sorry you are in pain too.

I'm lucky, the OH doesnt not mind rubbing my back, his face says it all but he's a star n never moans about it.
