My quadruple test results came back and showed a really high HCG - 16.3 MoM as well as a raised AFP. I had an ultrasound to check for evidence of structural abnormalities which didn't pick up anything up.
I'm going to see the fetal medicine specialist on Monday morning to have another more detailed scan and possibly an amniocentesis.
Has anyone else had a super high HCG? What was the cause?
I'm 17 weeks, I'm scared of the risk of miscarriage associated with the amnio but I don't know if I could cope with not knowing if something is majorly wrong with baby or me.
