Really really TMI but concerned (again)

Ok so me and my OH were having sex and after we had finished we played around for a while and when I orgasmd I had a gush of liquid (sorry tmi) I have never ever had that much liquid appear after an orgasm but just wondered if my water had broken?

It was on a black cover so couldn't see if there was any blood or anything in it. Also I had a quick sniff (I know it's gross) and it doesn't smell ov anything like pee or female ejaculation.

I am having very slight pains but really nothing major. It's my last day at work tomorrow so can't go to hospital right now

So basically my question is could this be my waters braking or just a really good night? And should contraction start soon if it was my waters ?

I really don't know, but 30 wks is very early for your water to break. if your concerned you should go get checked just to be on the safe side, because if it is your water breaking than that could be dangerous. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious.

Sit on the pot and empty your bladder completely. Lean forward to make sure its all out....then cough a few times....if every time you cough something trickles out...your waters may have gone. If nothing comes out, could be just a really good night! Good luck

It really also could be pee.. even though it doesn't smell like it. Sometimes if you drink lots of water or liquids it doesn't smell like pee like you think it would...If that makes sense. Hopefully that helps!

I understand that you have work, but you also have a baby in there. And if somehow your water did break, I'm sure you wouldn't want the baby to be at risk in there because of work. If I were you, I'd go get checked out.

I remember around 20 weeks ish I had a gush of liquid come out after sex...it soaked about half of my duvet and went right through to my mattress, then a bit more came out...and then I started to pee but quickly clenched to hold that back (couldn't stop the other lot coming out) - I told my MW and she just said that having sex/an orgasm puts immense pressure on the bladder and offered to refer me to a continence specialist at the hospital! I was mortified.

Since then I've had lots of weird leaks...including about 2 weeks ago when I had small 'gushes' of clear liquid, about 20ml in 5 minutes so I rang the hosp, went for monitoring and they said it wasn't my water, so can only assume it was either clear pee (?) or discharge.

Get checked out though, yes you might feel a plank when they say it's only wee but at least you know baby is safe.

Ring ur mw an c wot she says, they will more than likely wana check u out, u can b at risk of infection etc if if waters ave broke I'd jus c wot they ave to say if it was pee then o well, laugh it off no big deal they deal with stuff like this everyday xxx

We have all wet ourselves, midwifes here it at every appointment more than likely, get checked out for the babies sake if nothing else.

But if it was my waters shouldn't contraction have started by now ? I don't feel any different though. And also I'm goin to see the midwife on Tuesday anyway so will I be ok to wait until then ?

It would really be better to at least give your midwife a call. 30 weeks is very early if it is your waters, and can you at risk of infection. It may well just have been pee, but it'd be better to get checked out to make sure.

Premature Rupture Of Membranes doesnt necesarily kick start labour, sometimes womens waters break and they have to be induced because labour hasnt started on its own and when the waters have gone the baby needs to be delivered really because of the risk of infection and the fact that babys got no protection anymore.

So you wont necesarily get contractions
Id get checked out just incase, is it really something worth risking?

Sods law is if you leave getting checked till tuesday, it was you waters and your baby has spent 3 days at risk of infection and if you do go get checked it will just be pee!

and no, just because your waters have broken dosent mean contractions would start, your 30 weeks so waters breaking wouldent start contractions, because waters is just a membrain tear, and if your not ready to go into labour you wont get contractions.

please, if anything just phone MW, DR or labour ward! x

If it helps any every time i orgasim (only since being preg - from about 20 weeks mayb?) i have had gushes of liquid come out every single time nearly i have always just persumed its cum (tmi) as i know that we can squirt.. and thats what happens to me (sorry again lol) I hope its not pee.. lol Dont think it is as i always pee b4 we start and then half way threw aswel (in fear that i will pee during) xx

This happens all the time to me.. whether its sex.. or bending over too far to make the bed.. any strain on my bladder and whoosh!.. sounds like what it is.. if you're overly concerned get it checked out of course but it sounds pretty pregnancy annoying normal.
