really scared too........i didnt expect this....

I was absolutely fine this morning. had my sickness as usual and went to work. then at lunchtime i noticed i felt (sorry if TMI) wet down below and i went to the toilets and i was bleeding - quite a bit. i just freaked out toally and phoned the doctors.....they got me straight into the surgery and said it could be implantation bleeding or a miscarriage!!!! i have to go to the hospital for a scan tomorrow morning at 9.15am and doctor said it will be one of 4 possibilities;

-either they will find baby and i have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan
-or they will find something and not be 100%sure so id still have to go back in 2 weeks for a scan
-or i will have miscarried and they need to do an anisthetic to scrape out the rest
-or i will have miscarried everything and will just need to go home!

im so so so so so so scared - its my first pregnancy and ive never experienced anything like this before...i dont know what to do. i was told to go home this afternoon and ive just been crying, sleeping and feeling terrible....

guess i just have to wait now.

the blood seems to ahve stopped, it wasnt clotted or anything like that, almost like a light period..........i just dont know........will let you know what happens tomorrow....cheryl.......i read ur post and i know uve had similar.......hope ur ok too hun...........................xxxxxxxx

i've had more bleeding than that and i've refused to have another scan untill the normal one..

thanks everyone - it was more than spotting though, i needed to wear a pad and i still am now just incase. feel scared to death - absolutely petrified. trying so hard to keep calm.....the doctor said 1 in 4 women miscarry.thats a very scary statistic.xxxx

I hope everything is ok with your scan today, As you know i know how you feel. I have also had pain and small clots doc says it could be a bleed in early pregnancy. But with pain and clots i don't think it looks too good.
Fingers crossed for both of us. I hope your scan goes well and i will be thinking of you all day.

Hi hun, as common as it is to miscarry, it is also common to bleed in early pregnancy!

I had a huge bleed accompanied by monster clots at 11 weeks, and I have a happy bouncy 9 month old baby boy now!

No pain is a very good sign tho babe!

I have my fingers crossed babe, all the best and try to stay as calm as possible!!!!! x

If i remember right you said you were having your scan at 9.30 so you are probably waiting to have your scan now. I am thinking of you, fingers crossed for you and i hope everything is ok
