Does anyone else still have really sensitive nipples?

Mine have been really sensitive the whole way through pregnancy (quite a sore sort of sensitive), and I thought it would have eased off by now. I'm hoping to breastfeed, but at the moment can't even imagine anything going near them

are they just sensitive to touch or do some stimulants like the cold make it worse? i have a condition where cold makes them sting and the tips turn white- the best thing for it is hot packs either way i nursed dd for 12 months

I had the same problem as you with really sore nipples all throughout pregnancy but mine actually got better a few weeks ago and have been good since which I'm so pleased about (my OH is pleased too!) as I was worried about being able to breastfeed too so hopefully the same thing will happen with you!

Mine are still sensitive but get really quite painful when I get too cold, end up walking round holding them :haha:

Am trying not to think too much about breastfeeding at the moment, as much as I want to do it the thought kind of goes through me at the minute because of how my nipples feel! Am sure that will all change when he is here!! x x

Thanks for the replies ladies! Hopefully it'll ease off as I get closer to due date.

Mine were horrendous for the first 4 month of pregnancy, to the point of me crying when I got cold as I felt like they were being burned (big softy).

I have been fine since but just this last week they have got really sore and when Im warm and get out of the bath they are leaking! I think its all about the milk production x
