The middle name is almost certainly going to be joy after OH nan
Names that we both like - Eleanor, Isobel, Lillian
Names that I like and he doesn't- ivy, Beatrice, Vivienne, Eva/ Evangeline
Names he likes and I don't- rosemary, Kimberley
Names we like but I don't think works with middle name- orla

Which names/ name combo would you go for? Or any new suggestions?
I want something pretty that won't date and that isn't putting the child in a box eg the name Annabella, I imagine that to be a very girly girl and what if she isn't! Maybe that's me being silly though

How about Lilliana/Lillianna Joy, I think it's beautiful 💕, or Eleanora Joy (nn Ella or Nora)

I agree, Lillian or Lilianna Joy is very pretty.

What about Alice Joy
Elise Joy
Lyra Joy
Rowan Joy
Lilibeth Joy

I think Liliana is pretty too!

I like Alice a lot but hubby doesn't. I'll suggest the others to him, I like those.

I think Eleanor Joy is beautiful! :flower:

I also really like pp's suggestion of Lyra Joy. :)

I love all of your name choices! DD2 is called Isobel but we considered Ivy, would have had Eleanor on the list as we love Nell/Nellie but Eleanor is my name, and I suggested Beatrice but DH vetoed it. Also considered Vivienne and Evangeline but DD1's nicknames is Ve-ve and we thought it was too close to both names.
Some other names which I think are in the same vein:
Lyra
Ophelia
Primrose
Florence
Blythe
Clara
Martha
Emilia
Mabel
Alice
Iris
Alba
Violet
Cora
Elizabeth nn Libby
Cordelia
Daphne

Ellen? Love Ellen but it's too similar to my other children's names to use.

Eleanor joy definitely for me!
Isobel is lovely but so overdone, Eleanor is classic and can have so many good nicknames if wanted.
Veeto Rosemary (which is my name and I've always detested it) and Kimberly!

I'm no help really as my favourites are the names you like and he doesn't! I really like Orla, though Eleanor and Isobel are also beautiful. Could you use too middle names, so for example Orla Beatrix Joy? That way the name flows a little better.

Orla and Ivy are my absolute top names if this baby is a girl so they are my choices out of your lists!

I also love Lily, so Lilian Joy would be a good choice.

Joy is my middle name actually :D

I love Eleanor and Isabel too. Eleanor Joy is very pretty.

Can I just say I'm really not loving Kimberley, it seems very 80s and not like the other names at all!
