I am phoning the hospital first thing in the morning unless anything changes for the worse, but I am really worried something might be wrong.

I am 14+5 pregnant with fraternal twins. Last night I went to the loo and saw a tiny orange spot on my pants among clear discharge. I waited to see if anything else happened but it didn't happen again and every time I went to the loo it was clear when I wiped so I relaxed a little.

I woke up this morning with a crampy stomach, not agonising cramps but noticeable and different to any cramping I've had before. I've had crampy pains in the centre of my lower abdomen just above the pubic bone all day and there is a feeling down below like I am bleeding (I'm not), sorry for the tmi but you know like when you are nearing the end of your period and passing dark blood and you feel a bit tender 'down there'? That's what I feel like down below at the moment.

There was a tiny orange spot (very tiny) when I wiped earlier in loo and nothing since. I tried the doppler and it picked up a heartbeat in two places, however obviously it is hard to say if it is the same baby twice so I can't say for sure I am hearing both of them.

I have had a little back pain too but nothing severe, but I am panicking it is early labour or I am losing them. Has anyone experience of what I described and everything been ok? Or even, had experience of it and something went wrong (be honest, I am looking for honest opinions so I won't be annoyed). I've had 4 mcs previously, however they have all been very early in the first trimester but were bad enough so I don't know how I would deal with this if it is something to worry about. But i am hoping it is just stretching pains or a minor infection down there.

It could be absolutely nothing but I would call your dr about it anyway. I went into preterm labour at 23 weeks because of an incompetent cervix and the only symptoms I had were minor spotting, increased discharge, and mild lower back pain. My situation is very uncommom but I would say be proactive and follow your instincts.

Honestly, I would call the hospital asap. If you are worried about it then worst case scenario is that they check you out and tell you it is nothing! A bit of wasted time is worth the peace of mind and if anything is wrong finding out now gives your babies a better chance. Your mw and the labour ward are there for this reason. Plus with twins you are higher risk anyway. Go get checked out and put your mind at ease!

I'd go get it checked out too. Most likely it's nothing. And even if all you get is peace of mind then that's worth a lot. Hope all is well :hugs:

As above- I would get it looked at. It's probably nothing to worry about, but go anyway honey.

As others have said, I would be going to get checked out.... you never know, but you should go.... keep us updated.

I totally agree with all the other ladies. It sounds like normal stretching/growing pains to me but go get it checked out to put your mind at ease. xx
