Hi Ladies,
Basically when I came off the BCP I started having bleeding down there! My doctor said it was the lining of my womb growing outside.... This was in May, so I came off the bcp and thing went back to normal, so I thought.

I came on my AF on Tuesday and finished on Friday and we have been bd coz I ov on the 11th......anyway there is blood there and it is like orange tmi I know. I was out tonight and I started having stomach pain mainly down one side and I am worried it is something like Endo, if anyone can share there experience or reassure me that would be great:cry:

Not sure what it is, but talk to your doctor. don't worry until you know what it is. Best of luck!!

I get easily confused, sorry! Can I clarify? So when you came off the BC, you say you started bleeding? Was that straight away like an AF, or spotting mid cycle? Or post sex?

And now, you've experienced a bit of bleeding post AF (and post sex) is that right? Well, there's lots of reasons why you would spot mid cycle. If it was post sex it could have been it was a bit more vigourous than normal *winks* or considering you've previously been on hormonal contraception it could be a cervical erosion. That sounds scarier than it is! A cervical erosion is where the more fragile epithelium (layer of skin) of the inside of your cervix bulges out. It's more sensitive and can bleed easily. Very common, particularly in those with a history of hormonal medication (like the pill) or pregnancy! Ive got one and it was so scary when I first bled!

Other things can cause mid cycle spotting, like a thrush infection etc.

I'm not sure exactly why your Doc said your lining is growing outside the womb based on what sounds like mid-cycle spotting. What he is desribing is Endo but I'm not convinced that fits entirely in with your symptoms.

The abdo pain could be a red herring, it mightn't be related to your cycle. I have IBS and often get random pains. I have Endo but my pains only happen when I am due on AF which kinda fits in with the 'classical' symptoms of cyclic pains.

I think what would be best is for you to go and see your Doc and explain your fears, espesh now you are TTCing. But even if it did turn out you have Endo, there are so many women out there who have it and get PG, please try not to worry too much Hun...I know it's difficult though.

One last thing (I'm too long winded sorry!)... when was your last smear? They may have seen an ectropion then you see and have it on your records so you GP could tell you that when you go see him/her. Plus tis always good to have regular smears!

*hugs* hope you feel a bit better about things, this TTC business is so hard but I'm hoping you will get your :bfp: very soon!!!!
