Just a few tips for choosing your photographer. I'm a wedding planer so I hope this helps
- see if they have an album (either on line or something they can show you at a meeting) of a wedding they have covered at your venue. It gives you a good idea of what they can do with your venue, and you might see some pics / poses you'd like to use - or not lol!!
- you need to see a full finished album. Often a photographer will show you one album with lots of weddings in it - ask to see one wedding's finished album. That way you're not just seeing highlights! When looking at the full finished album, you're looking to make sure it tells a story - start to finish. Just looking at it should make you feel like you understand that couples day - and you should obviously like the style of the pics etc.
- Finally you need to like the photographer - this is really important! They are a big part of your day - often there for most of the day. You're going to spend a good part of your day with them - and they are going to be telling you what to do. Personally I can't think of anything worse that spending my wedding day been told what to do by someone who annoys me lol!!!! So make sure you like them, and don't be afraid not to book someone who you meet but don't like.
I hope that helps
