Recent Circumcision Analysis - What do you guys think?

Really...why so much attention for the almighty penis anyways? I think it clearly gets way more attention than deserved. So much research and speculation,...and women arguing about a small piece of skin. I wonder how this thread would go if men were talking. LOL

Maybe something alone the line of arguing about whose is bigger and then they all whip 'em out and have a sword fight.

I didn't want it done on my son, but family pressure didn't seem to give me a choice. If I had another boy, I'd rather not.

Thanks for keeping everything overall civil, ladies. I know that this is a heated/controversial topic. My point in posting the article was to highlight that some medical professionals now think that circumcision should be required, that it will reduce the amount of money spent on things like UTI/STI treatment, and that it should be treated like vaccinations in that regard.

If anything, I think this healthy debate has shown that a vaccination-type approach is definitely not best. But that's just me.

Don't agree with it. My soon to be five yr old is uncirc'ed and so is his younger brother. We have had no issues. That was the decision his father made. His father is but didn't want to be. If my sons want to do it later, then by all means they can do it then!

I had family HELL from not having my oldest done. I did three months of research, consulted medical professionals who told me it wasn't necessary. My own mother actually told me my son would be dead at six months old...
