Stuck for choice and would love recommendations. :)

here are my final four lol

i got tommee tippee, as i used live near a factory got them cheaper lol
never had any problems with them though

I have brought tommee tippee ones as i want to breastfeed and from looking at others these seem the best but obvo i havent used these yet!! xxx

I bought the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles for when Morgan was born, and had terrible trouble with them! She couldn't keep the teats in her mouth, got milk everywhere, and ended up with horrific colic! When I asked the midwife and then the HV about it, they both said that virtually every mum they had spoken to about these bottles had trouble with them, and said they were even writing to Tommee Tippee to complain!!

Then, after reading several threads on here, we switched to Dr Browns bottles when Morgan was a few weeks old, and have never looked back! They really are amazing! Her colic disappeared almost instantly and was far, far more settled.

OK, so they take a bit longer to clean cuz of the extra couple of parts, and they are a bit more expensive than some other brands, but I can honestly say it's worth the extra time and cost!

i no its not on your list but we use Mam's and i would recommend them. however started with avent and found them good too. x

dr browns, we tried 4 types of bottles before sticking with these :) XXX

The TT CTNs teats sometimes collapse but I still quite like them and do use them occasionally

I like the MAMs too but I find they're slow to warm as the plasutc is thicker at the bottom

Dr Bs are well worth the effort. If I go to bottle feeding full time, I'll get more of these :)

We're MAM users too and you don't have them listed. Would recommend them tho xXx

Tommee Tippee were awful for us.
Dr Browns all the way, fantastic and would recommend to anyone

Im going to try out Mam and Dr Browns and see which of those i like.

dr browns!!! i bought tt but no good for wind and colic for my likle one. dr browns worked a treat x

I spent a fortune on all the different sizes of bottles and teats of the Avent range and they are totally crap! They leak everywhere!

On the advice of alot of the girls on here I moved to Dr Browns and they are fab! They have a couple of extra bits to wash but it's no bother at all, and Daisy hasn't had colic since we started using them so they do work!

we started with tommee tippee to begin with and she just brought the whole bottle up everytime, she would bring wind up then the entire contents.

we changed to dr browns and they have been fab well worth the cash and effort

Lou

i would say dr browns , but if you decide to use them you are not surposed to shake them it tells you in the instructions not to shake them & if you shake them they will leak so i make up the bottle & then mix it with a spoon . violet xx

i would recommened tommeetipee as they hve these milk containers you can buy to put in bottle to keep milk and water seperate!! which means no matter how long your out your bottles are always fresh :) ive tried dr browns wen faith got out of neonatal and she seemed to like them but now she loves her tommee tippee :)

I'd have been interested in this poll if all the main bottles were listed or 'other' (I'd have been interested in MAM bottles being on the poll) No offence of course  Hmmmmm may enter a new poll on this first and resource the brand names available on todays market :D

I had nothing but trouble with Dr Browns. For me they just didn't live up to the hype. I've been using Tommee Tippee ones and have had no probs. Suppose it depends on the baby!! xx

Anyone tried Nuk? I bought one today to try Poppy with as I am trying her with a bottle and she doesn't seem interested in Tommee Tippee?

We're MAM users too and you don't have them listed. Would recommend them tho xXx

^^^^ I love MAM bottles too!!!

I started with Avent and they were rubbish, leaky, just horrid and noah had terrible wind!!

Changed to MAM and they're great!!

I was also saying yesterday (to wobbs) that I've had the same teets since I bought the bottles (over a year ago) when I wash them I check them for cracks, pull them etc and only one has ever split. You can also buy tesco/asda wide neck teets which are £1.99 for 2 and fit the MAM bottles!!

i asked his question before and the main replys i got was tommee tippee so im going to use them when not breast feeding
