Recurrent Miscarriage Thread

I put myself on 200mg progesterone once at night. And idk when I will be seen.. Probably not until 10 weeks :( But I'm hoping with my multiple losses they will see me sooner.

:( doesn't sound very supportive :hugs:

Is the progesterone expensive? Just wondering as I think most of us are on 400mg once or twice a day so even 200mg twice a day might be better?

It's a military base in Turkey so it's hard to be seen. I had to buy the progesterone off base, and it was 28TL (about $13.00). I may up it when I talk to the doctor tomorrow.

Good luck DSemcho.

Fingers tightly crossed for you Tasha, it's all looking good!

Congrats DSemcho!! Did they ever find any reason for your losses? Are you on progesterone because your levels were low when checked, or just as a precaution?

So happy things have turned around for you tasha, and so hoping this is another rainbow for you :). Fab news!

DSemcho - that really does sound like awful awful support. But I hope everything manages to work out for you this time :hugs:.

I'm 12 DPO today, expecting AF in 2-3 days, and will officially start trying again once AF arrives. It's been a while since we tried (last BFP in May, d&c in July, and have been just WTT since) so right now all I feel is excitement. But I know once we succeed in achieving pregnancy, it's all downhill with the emotions from there. I'm really dreading going through first tri again. But nothing to do but keep on trucking.

confusion, our AF's are really close. Mine is due any time now. We waited 2 cycles this time, so haven't tried here in a few months due to my pregnancy/early mc. I'm excited as well, but terrified as well. Hopefully we can get a sticky, healthy one together!!:happydance:

I hope this cycle works out for you confuzion!!

My levels were fine, I'm doing it as a precaution. We've never got to check my levels while pregnant because I always find out on a weekend (or holiday extended weekend) and lose it by Monday. And no they never tried to find out why. The Commander of thr medical group here at this base basically said, 'If they can't give birth here why should we help them try to get pregnant.' They have to send us to Germany to Storknest 6-8 weeks before we are due.

Update in the spoiler!
This AM's test has the test line darker than the control line! My back still aches, but from research I found if you are overweight your back will hurt more. Also it could be ligament pain - I'm still cautious but being hopeful!

DSemcho, are you near any major cities? Could you get to a Turkish doctor?

Great news on the darker lines. Different is better in this case!

I'm in Adana - but Tricare won't cover me being seen off base I'd have to pay out of pocket.

I got a blood draw - that are doing a qual since my lines are legit there lol. And they said they will definitely try to see me sooner than 9 weeks.

Congrats Ds - I remember you - it doesn't sound like you have a lot of support - my first pregnancy was on a military base in Germany a very scary experience:wacko:

Tasha - :happydance: Hun that is great news - you deserve your rainbow let's hope you have an easy time (or as easy as pregnancy can be:haha:) what is your next move - apart from taking it easy!

:hugs:

How is everyone doing? Anyone trying here?

Currently entertaining AF here. Would be nice to succeed in pregnancy if only to get a break from this awfulness for 9 months!

I'm not allowed yet :(

My cycle all messed up anyway, AF appeared CD20 this month. Well pissed off as it had been 28d cycles and a 30d cycle so god knows why it appears cd20

Need to start tracking ovulation I think as it's next cycle I can try, wahoo :) also very scary

Xx

Thank you so much girls.

Hope could that be your thyroid?

Fingers definitely crossed, Tasha!

TTC feels like the Hunger Games lately. It's very stressful, and all these other ladies getting successfully pregnant without a thought to it are making me feel kind of like I'm getting shanked right out of the gate.

Waiting to see if 5mg of Femara will make me ovulate. I'll worry about that before I worry about getting pregnant and starting progesterone suppositories. My GP thinks something is wrong with my thyroid. He says it's enlarged (I can tell my neck is swollen, I just thought it was all the fat I can't lose finally taking over). I have an appointment with a regular endocrinologist on Monday.

Thank you so much girls.

Hope could that be your thyroid?

I did think it could be that

Ive felt awful in the mornings too, like i could sleep another 8 hours, another thyroid symptom

xx
