Red bleeding... help..

Hi all
I'm 7w2d pregnant with twins. I went to the ER yesterday for a little bit of red bleeding. And they did a pap and a scan and showed the babies are okay with good strong heartbeats. They deemed it a threatened miscarriage and to come back on friday for a follow up.

So I came home and went to bed. I woke up in the early am thinking I peed my pants but found a pads worth of blood, bright red with some clots. So I cleaned up and put a pad on and have only been spotting red since. I think this might be from the doctors messing around in my vagina...

Andy thoughts or advice would be very welcome!!

I am always prone to worrying. I don't blame you if you are confused. If you are in a lot of pain and cramping I would go back to ER. If the bleeding has stopped or slowed right down and there is no cramping maybe wait for your check-up. It really depends on how you feel. Sadly is there is something going wrong, there is not much the dr's can do at this early stage. I went in with spotting on Wednesday and have to go back today to check the viability of this pregnancy.

The pap definitely could have irritated your cervix. Why did they do a pap smear while you were bleeding?

oh.. ok. I was wondering why they were bothering your cervix when you were already bleeding. Either procedure could have irritated your cervix causing more bleeding. Sometimes they really aren't gentle enough with those internal scans.
