Hi there can anyone advise the best way to give my baby gaviscon sachets as a breast feeder ? THe box says to mix it with water but she jst spat it back out !! Also it says do it after the feed but I think it is too late then as she sicks her milk up straight after !! I dont want to change to bottle feeding as am in the swing of breast feeding after nine weeks but feel I may have to as cant give her the Gaviscon otherwise ?? Thanks

i gave it to charlie with a syringe you can get from pharmacy cheap, he kept spitting out at first too but he got used to it after a while and it becomes easier xxx

I mix mine with boiled water that is cooled until warm - I find that by the time I haved mixed the boiled water it is then cool enough. I then give it with a bottle before the feed. Like you, if I give it after, he just sicks it straight back up again.
