Refusing food

Hey everyone,

Haven't been on here since I was pregnant! My baby is now 9 mths old and I have run in to a problem.

A few days ago, he had some kind of 24hr bug and was running a temperature. Hes better now but has completely gone off his food and now refuses to eat anything except bread and fromage frais.

Before this happened, I had cut right back on my breastfeeding to 2 feeds a day as I had planned to stop altogether in a month or so. But, due to him going off his food, I have started feeding more milk just to make sure he is getting enough to eat.

I feel like I am going backwards.

I should also add that he is teething badly and has his molars coming through at the top.

I just don't know what to do for the best. Has anyone else had this problem? And how did it get resolved?

I had this problem when maxim got sick too ! it took a few days of re-weaning ..I had to start all over again with cereal , then fruits then veg and so on ..

I just took it one day at a time .

Thank you so much. Its nice to know that I'm not alone.

He's started taking a little again now so hopefully, as you say, one day at a time and we'll get there.
