Hi ladies :flower:

For the past few weeks, Erin has been really grochy when on the left side. She will feed for about 2mins, then come off start crying and screaming and will not go back on. If I try the right straight after she is fine!! If I start on the right and mve over after she has finished (she is a 2-boob girl) she will sometimes take it, but most of the time start the crying/refusing game.

I thought it might be her reflux, so tried feeding her more upright - didn't work. Then thought it might be teething, so tried powders first - didn't work. I think she just doesn't like that side!!!

Anyone else had this? How do I combat it?

Thanks :flow:

sorry hun i don't know? hopefully she will stop it soon xxxxxxx

My LO sometimes prefers one side but it changes from day to day as I experience OALD sometimes in one side sometimes in the other; strangely enough. Do you have an overactive let down or maybe a slow let down on the least favoured side, perhaps? I know there are ways to trick babies into thinking their least favoured side is the other one but I don't know if they'd work in babies older than a couple of weeks...

Don't think I have OALD as I never squrt out everywhere and she seems fine with it at night. I have tried feeding her in the football hold, but she knows!!!!!

I dunno - she was fine with it just, but earlier screamed blue-murder when I even lay her that side!!!!

Could she have earache on one side that hurts more when placed on that side? Dunno what else it could be...?

Could be? Its been happening for at least 2wks and no other symptoms. It has been worse the last few days tho I suppose. She does actually rub that side of her head, but I thought it was a tired sign?
