I'm sure I will have a fairly big baby shower 50+ people invited. I am a little nervous to put big priced items on there. We already have got travel system, crib, changing table, and some clothes. Most of the things that I registered for are cheap, but I have registered for couple of big ticket things swing and bouncer, high chair. Is there like a rule of thumb? This is all new to me lol.

Then I only registered for 28 things. So confused. I know people will buy and gift what you want.

Put everything on the registry.... Sometimes after your shower, the store you registered at will give you a discount to complete the items on the list....but also, some people wont mind spending a little more...I personally don't consider a bouncer as a big ticket item, so i wouldn't be surprised if you receive TWO! I don't think there is a rule of thumb... You're already registering, so you may as well put what you want and need... I love shopping off a registry...so much easier...and I can buy what I can afford... So my opinion is to go for it.

If you ask me the big ticket items you already got. My registry sounds like ures. I already got the big stuff as well. Besides the small stuff on the registry I have a bouncer, swing and pack and play. Honestly you can put whatever you want on ure registry, theirs no rule it.

I'd put the bigger items as well, you never know who wants to splurge!
Plus, two people might buy something together if it's on the more expensive side.
I think you'll be surprised at what you get!

I put a range of things on mine, from cheaper to more expensive because you never know who wants to spend more.

I bought most of the big stuff. I say though, if you need it put it on there! Just make sure you have a bunch of the little stuff for people to choose from too.

There really is not rule of thumb for the registry... except not to go crazy because then it becomes overwhelming for everyone :p

Some times people like to splurge together on a bigger ticket item, so it's always good to have them on your registry just in case :)

I am jealous of your baby shower! I have only like 2 family members that I talk to and their not even my biological family just my OH's family. So I do not have enough ppl that love me to have a baby shower .

Aw. I'm sorry. It's a mix between our coworkers, our families, our friends, and my mother's friends. Then my fear of who will actually show up. So much anxiety.

Definitely put everything on there! I agree that some people may want to go in together to buy something. With DS, we were waiting to buy the bigger items until late on, so we had a lot of big ticket items on ours. It's kind of tradition around here that the hostess go in together and get one big item. They ended up getting me a travel system. Of course I also have a couple aunts that like to show off how much money they have, so I let them :)

I bet everyone will show up! Everyone loves babies :) <3.
