I'm very sorry that you're unhappy with the recent price increase of Aptamil in our stores. I can understand why you're disappointed.

Please let me assure you that we aim to be competitive and to offer our customers quality products at the best possible prices. Unfortunately, at this time there are inflationary pressures on the supply side which is the main cause of recent product price increases you have noticed in stores.

We are not complacent about this matter and are working very hard behind the scenes with our suppliers to minimise the impact of these increases and hope that customers know they will always get value at Tesco and continue to shop with us regardless of the state of the economy.

Me too! My Boots, sainsburies and asda are still selling at the old price. I told them that in my complaint but obvioulsy no mention of that in their reply!

Thanks for that! I have stopped using aptamil as of last week, I changed from aptamil follow on milk to cow and gate and lo didnt notice AT ALL!! It was considerably cheaper as evrything looks the same, even the scoop, I think they are made by the same people!! xx

For me-just Tescos-i'm in SW London. By £0.52p. Makes it £9.99 a kilo vs. £8.42/kg for C and G and £8.47 for Hipp.

it doesn't make a blind bit of difference where i buy it from seeing as we can't get points on it anyway.

Sainsburys haven't increased it...I noticed in Tesco not only have they put the Aptamil powder formula up to £8.99 per tin, but they have also increased the ready made cartons to 66p...bloody Tesco...we combination feed using Aptamil, and I definately will not be buying it from Tesco!!

thanks for bringing it to our attention, was in tesco this morn, remembered i need more aptamil, but thought will go somewhere else where its cheaper! am going to head to morrissons tomo and see how much it is there! cheeky tesco!

boots / asda / superdrug might be your best bet.

I've been to to co op this morning to buy some milk and they've put it up to £9.39 it was definitely less than £9 last week none if the other milks appear to have been increased I'm in two minds to change to cow and gate but I don't want to upset LO as he seems really settled on aptimal
