Retroplacental hematoma

Thursday at 8w2d pregnant I fell down a few stairs and started to bleed pretty heavily about 2 minutes later. The bleeding went on for a few hours and I passed 2 clots. The bleeding then stopped. I was terrified, thought for sure I was having a miscarriage. Yesterday I went in for an ultrasound and the baby is fine but they found a large retroplacental hematoma. It wasn't my regular OB ans she really didn't tell me much but to rest and discuss it with my doctor at my appt on Tuesday. I've consulted Dr. Google and scared myself to death. Is/has anyone dealing with this? Any positive outcomes?

I have not experienced this, but wanted to give you support and to bump it up. Remember that the internet is full of worst case scenarios, so try not to spend too much time on google!
