Thanks magicvw I know I should wait, just tired of playing the waiting game. All seems to be in order except for possibly mild endo ( not diagnosed ) so we're now on the NHS IVF waiting list- up to 2 years. We decided to give it another 2-3 months and possibly go back to Bulgaria for an IUI or IVF ( I'm Bulgarian living in the UK with my British husband), so we shall see.... Currently only taking the pregnacare preconception vitamins. I'll try progesterone to see if it helps, you never know... Testing again on Friday 12 dpo.... Fingers X-ed. Thank you for your reply, really encouraging

Oh wow - you're Bulgarian! (I have written some pretty rude things about Bulgarian health care on here - hope I haven't caused any offence if you read them lol!) (I've had 2 babies over here.) But I bet you have a lot of rude things to say about the NHS too! Ot kade si?

This thread is pretty old you know now, I was still ttc when I wrote those posts. I actually then got my progesterone levels tested (the doc prescribed progesterone without testing at first), and the month I was being tested I had to stop taking them, obviously. So the tests came back that my levels were normal, and hey presto I got my bfp a few days later. My doc wanted a "clear month" with no folic, no preg vits or anything, so it was a bit bizarre really. The doc was gobsmacked that my natural prog levels were normal. I now think the spotting might be fibroid related - just a hunch.

If you get pg you should pop back to Bulgaria anyway and you get tonnes more scans than in the uk!

Hi magicvw! I do realize that this is pretty old..it came up on the google search .I'm originally from Pleven but left BG when I was 18 ( 32 now) .Oh, I am aware how bad the healtcare system is back there...no offence taken! ...but at least if you know somebody, who know somebody..you'll be taken care of....I have a loopy doctor here who appears to know less than me...not that those back in BG are better...;-)..I don't know what the story is with me as all tests came back in order. HSG was fine, no blocked tubes, fibroids etc. ovulating regulary on day 13/14 ( they even saw it on the ultrasound ..had 2 sessions in two consecutive days). All hormone tests were in order. The only thing they found was a tiny cyst ( possible endometrioma) on one ovary, but its so small they wouldn't do anything and it doesn't prevent me from ovulating from that ovary. DH's swimmers are ok ( and he already has two kids.....). So I was really hoping that this weird bleeding would turn out to be implantation bleeding as I never had it b4, but who knows...Did another cheapie test today( 11dpo) came back as negative....I know I should stay optimistic but its getting harder and harder each month....Oh well! will let you know what happens...AF is NOT expected on Sunday ;-)P.S where about do you live?.

Zdrasti Brumbar! You're right that it's helps to know the right people over here lol! We live in Veliko Turnovo and my kids were both born in Gorna Oryahovitsa (we are friends with the director of the hospital there ;) )

I know how frustrating it is hun, to wait and wait and wait for that bfp. I was like you - no apparent reason for it taking so long. Obviously age is a factor - but not such a big one in your thirties as later on. :hugs: Well hun 11dpo is still early! If the bleeding is unusual for you then I would say it's a good sign! Do you feel any other symptoms? xxx

Zdrasti Magicvw! ;-) No other symptoms at all…the strangest part is that even my boobs aren’t sensitive this month (they usually are). I’ll go to the family planning clinic tomorrow to test for STDs…just to get the yearly check out of the way and to eliminate the possibility of any infections being the reasons for the bleeding…who knows I had HSG done in April, maybe that caused something…Oh well….Desided not to do anymore pregnancy tests 'till Sunday (I’m using the cheap internet goodies for now but will do an Early Response on Sunday).
V. Turnovo is a cute little town…we really like visiting when we’re around. And funny enough my brother’s girlfriend is from Gorna O., but she moved in with my brother a couple of months ago and now lives in Pleven :-) Small world! If Im not pg this month and the doctors don’t stop messing me around I’ll just have to go to BG to get an answer…will have to pay for it but at least I’ll know what’s going on (I hope!) I’d rather know if there’s something wrong .. but for now I’m just another number on the NHS waiting list.

Take care and hope the weather is nice !!!!!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you (and hold my thumbs!) Let me know how it goes (you can always find me in my journal on here!) Sending you lots of :dust:! :hugs:

(Oh yeah and it's HOT - forecast is 38 for tomorrow )

Ooh you must be getting quite excited! I had implantation spotting with my first pg. I thought AF was on her way but then it disappeared again!

yes I am:-) and my husband seems to be taking it seriously...it's the first month he's really shown some interest ( he would argue this, but anyway)....no idea...only the test will show! :-)
