Hi all
We recently found out that OH who is 27 has a right sided varicocele. Varicoceles are common but only 1-2% of men have them on the right side and when they do underlying causes such as a tumour in the kidney have to be ruled out. We weren't told this but found this on line after OH received a letter saying that he had to go for a scan to check his kidneys are ok. The scan isn't for 2 weeks - as you can imagine I'm worried sick as there's no information about whether it can be caused by anything else. Has anyone else experienced this? we've gone from worrying about not getting pregnant to us now worrying about something potentially life threatening!
