ring resizing or buy another?

Anyone know how much it costs to resize a ring. My engagement ring is quite loose. It keeps spinning and it's driving me nuts. It wasn't very expensive, so I'm wondering if it would be worth resizing or just getting a new one.

I've been meaning to get mine re-sized since losing all the weight, and I think I was quoted between $50-100 for my white gold band. Depending on how much your ring cost it's probably cheaper just to take it in to get re-sized. (plus sentimental value)

The problem with resizing is if it needs to be shrunk by a lot as it can dislodge the stones/make them loose but it shouldn't be too expensive, I would expect around the £50 mark from what I've heard.
