This is my second cycle on Clomid. Last month, they gave me 50mg once a day. They do not think I ovulated, so this time we did 50mg, 2x a day. She also mentioned Robitussin for CM. She mentioned it only in passing. I bought some today and I knew enough to only get the one with the Guanif.. whats-it-called as the only active ingredient, but I have no idea how much to take for CM purposes.
I'm also worried because I heard somewhere that being overweight can make Clomid not work for you. Doctor has already said that if Clomid dosage increases don't work, she'll have to send me to a reproductive endocrinologist. I mean, I've gotten pregnant twice before, so I shouldn't need that, right? I'm just concerned that if Clomid doesn't do it for me, that I'll go to that specialist and they'll want to do IVF or something and there is no way I can afford that. Am I reaching the end of my options here? I mean, I did ovulate before, although the OBGYN isn't convinced I had "good ones", so I'm sort of functioning, it's just the carrying that is the issue. Doc and I are thinking it's a Luteal Phase defect with Progesterone and that's why I'm on Clomid. She also has me on baby aspirin, fish oil, prenatals and metformin. I feel like I have my own pharmacy.
