I am 35 weeks today. Baby went head down at 27 weeks but has constantly been facing side ways. Keeps flipping which side s/he is facing but always sideways. I felt baby engage on Sunday and midwife confirmed yesterday baby is fully engaged but still facing sideways. I have been doing exercises daily and watching my posture since around about 20 weeks to encourage baby to face posterior but so far it has not worked. What are my chances of getting this baby turned now s/he is fully engaged? At last growth scan baby was plotting on my 90th line so going to be a big baby. Going to have a much better chance of a delivery without intervention if baby is in the optimum birth position.

Facing to the side is normal, here is a video about how the baby rotates in labor:

Mine has been on the right side head down for most of the pregnancy. Good posture and exercises will help prevent an OP presentation but I think you're fine!
