tried boots but they are charging £395 when its £349 in the actuall M&P store :growlmad:.

i looked on the M&P site and the pliko pramette mimi (the one were after) is in stock and says you can have it delivered to store has anyone done this before if so would you reccomend or not?

I've ordered loads of times and no issues at all I think their great

I've ordered stuff online to collect in store too. When your doing the order before you confirm it should tell you when the items will be available for you to collect in store.

I've ordered stuff in the shop so I save on phone bills! I also prefer speaking to people face to face when making big purchases. Only thing is is I would suggest telling them you need it sooner than you do. I pre ordered mine but got a phone call a couple of days before I was due to pick it up as they said it was out of stock and wouldn't be available until October. I played up and they had one sent down from Scotland for me.

Never fom m&p but i do order stuff all the time and have it delivered to the store as it saves me waiting in on stuff and i can collect it whenever i like once its at the store xx

good news!!!!!!..... well sort of lol :D

i phoned baby discount warehouse in basildon, so not to far from us just over the bridge :)

they dont have the pram in stock....but if i go in there on a monday and order it it'll be there by the friday!!!!! YAY!!!!!

has anyoe brought from there before....ive heard they pretty good and that they are quite cheap, im taking my dad with me as he likes to haggle for a bargain which again ive heard they do :).....

they are an official M&P stockist and are advertised as one on the M&P site, so im guessing that means that they come with the same warrentee (sp) as it would be getting it direct from M&P as they are their official stockist :)....

was getting from boots as final straw.... but for some reason they are selling the pram for £395 when on the actual M&P site its £349 :/

thankyou for the advice ladies

Glad you've sorted it. We didn't buy anything from them but went to that warehouse a little while ago as we live about 40mins away.
I have to say i wasn't impressed at all, not a nice store, even though they had loads of stuff. Have you checked with m&p's they are a stockist? As I'm sure I saw a fake bugaboo in there.
Obviously however we have no experience of buying through there so they could be great. Xx

Hi hun, oh no really :( I haven't been there yet this will be the first, I looked on there site I know the bugaboo replica your on about its on there site its called the beebop I think or somthing like that :/

Yeah its deffinatly a M&P official stockist, mamas and papas advertise it on there site as an official stockist, I also asked M&P over the phone and they are but they couldn't tell me what they've got in stock there though.

Is it a big store?
Somone told me it looks a bit 'rough' outside :/

Just out of curiosity, why can't you order direct from M&P?

i was thinking of doing this, but on the phone they said it will take up to 2 weeks from when i order it, i wont be able to order till next sunday and then it will be 2 weeks from then... i just it would be cutting it a bit fine with the dates.

and also the pram is cheaper to get from this place, they are a official stockist reccomended by M&P site, but with 10% off as they buy straight from them .

also everytime i go on the M&P FB page i see nohing bad bad comments about deliveries being messed up so i thought is it worth the risk :flower:

Ahhh! I see. Yeh, I can vouch that their delivery isn't the best! Luckily I ordered my stuff in advance.

I say go for it, just make sure that the guarantee etc is the same, should be as they are official stockists. :D

so many people have told me their delivery isnt great :nope:.... all the negative comments on there about the delivery is unbelievable, could be just coinsidence but i thought with only a few weeks left i didnt wanna take the chance .
was any of your deliveries late from them then?

i asked them if the guarentee was the same and they told me it would be exactly the same as buying from M&P.... but i'll ask them again just to double check  xx

I think well if it's an actual stockist you'd be fine, def 'rough' inside and out, it's a converted garage but they seemed nice and the stock
looked fine. Have you phoned them to see if they have it in stock?

The other place close to us is Freeport Braintree they have a small m&p's outlet, it's really nice but small. Might be worth a ring as they have great prices on prams ive noticed :)

i'll have to have a look at the one in braintree, is it a proper m&p outlet or a stockist?

honestly, i'd give them ago ordering from m&p's hon, i've ordered through them before and they have been fine, if not, they have great compensation for not being  you have you car seat right? so really you've got plenty of time :)

that's such a shame braintree's so far, it's not worth the trip as it's so small, but it is a proper outlet of m&p's.

tbh, i didn't think the prices at the warehouse were that competitive if i'm honest, though we were just mooching around as had a free saturday afternoon and hubby no's the area from work :)

do let us no what you do though, either way, m&ps do gorgeous prams :D

I've ordered from M&P to collect in store with no problems. My friend ordered me something to collect but there was an issue with the payment so we had to have it delivered. It came via DHL and the service was fine - couldn't fault it at all. As the issue was at Head Office rather than at store level we got delivery free of charge in the end. My SIL also ordered her moses basket for home delivery from them with no problems. HTH xx

Yeh, it was bad. There was a mess up with my cot and mattress delivery. They said they'd let me know when it was going to be delivered, imagine my siprise when I got a text saying that they had tried to deliver that morning (I work, as does everyone else in my house). And then they didn't include the mattress (despite them saying they would when I ordered them) and tried to deliver that a couple of days later. And then, with my travel system, I got a phone call a couple of days before I was due to pick it up and they said that it was out of stock and they couldn't get it to be until the end of September. I played up and they got one shipped down from Scotland for me. And then I had a similar issue with the car seat. It was a nightmare at the time and the customer services people were rubbish on the phone. Thankfully I now have everything I ordered. In future, if I do order anything else, I'll be telling them I need it a couple of months before I actually do! :D

Edit to say that the above was for home delivery. My other stuff that was delivered to store, I had no problems. Just tell them you need it now and I think you'll be fine. If, God forbid, there is a problem, play up or get your dad/OH to. They seem to get their act together when you do this!
