SA help me please??

Ladies im SO UPSET!!!

When you ladies have went for semen test have you got your results over the phone or had to get appointment, im REALLY nervous my man phoned for his today and they said yeh they are in but you will have to come into see the doctor to get them... im trying to reassure him it will be fine but honestly im freaking out... So we booked appointment 8th OF JUNE!!! FLIPPING JUNE!!!!

I phoned nurse myself and told wite lies said i had a fertility appointment later tonight and REALLY needed the results for this appointment gave a little water works (which were coming anyway as i was so upset) and the doctor is giving my man a phone consultation some point today and he will get to know what results are, maybe a print out (they said that it wasnt normal toprint out semen result) if no print out again white lie i told them fertility specialist needs to know the count motility morphology and volume... lies but i want to know them!!

Ladies im freaking out i know this is going to be bad news and i cant stop crying about it!!!

OH update as im typing this my man just phones and doc has left print out at reception for us to pick up at 1/2pm... thank god... he hasnt told cam results as he hasnt looked at it himself obv as he thinks the ferility doc will look at it... anyone know any good sites for me to check results against... just to check them againt average numbers will be fine and 3rd june fertility specialst can go over them!! im scared!!!

We had to see our GP for the results, but I think it's just standard? Good luck with the results.

Count 51.74milion
Motility 19%
Morphology 0%

PLEASE can someone help me?? im really upset and dont understand this...

Is ivf my only option now?? will i never concieve??

Hi, i'm no expert on SA results, but i do know that they don't just go off 1 result. They'll ask him to do at least one more sample before jumping to any conclusions. My DH had bad morphology results on his first SA, but they were normal on his 2nd sample.

Did he give a fresh sample? He needs to make sure he's clearing his guys out every other day on the run up to a SA/TTC so you get the freshest sample possible. x

i think yeh they were pretty fresh he produced on thurs afternoon... and then did his sample on mon morning...

im at a loss... anyone know what i can do to get them fixed up??? tips??

well thats still 4 days. IMO if youre are producing a sample on Monday you should clear them out on Saturday, plus every other day for the duration of TTC, just to keep them cleared out and stop them going stale. Opinion does differ on this so that;s just my point of view! We don't necessarily dtd every other day, but if need be hubby has a clear out in the shower in the morning! I don't ask....

well we are dtd every 2nd day i thot this would be fine ill easily give every day a go if it might help and i might also get dh to clear out in the shower if we can do every day HAHA

oh and yeh we are going to get stocked up on vitamins 2moro!!
