Hi there,

Has anyone else tried observing their saliva for ferning on a microscope while breastfeeding? I still haven't had my first post-baby period yet, but every now and then I check my saliva for ferning to check if I'm ovulating or not (normally when I have suspect CM and I'm curious). It worked really well when we were TTC our daughter. I saw a full on ferning pattern around ovulation the month we conceived her. Well since having her, I've always had no ferning patterns at all every time I checked. Yesterday evening though I had lots of ferning and again this morning, but now by this evening it's gone again. So does this mean ovulation has happened? Or is it just something that happens due to breastfeeding hormones? Anyone have any insights or experience? :flower:
