Samanthas first bottle!

I'm so excited. Sammy had her very first bottle feeding yesterday! she did perfect! The Occupational Therapist was sp proud of her. She knew instantly how to co-ordinate her suck swallow and breath. I'm so proud of her She took 20ml of her 40ml then she started getting tired. So now they are going to start with 2 bottles a day. one in the morning one at night.

she had another one today and the nurse was super happy. she took 25ml out of her 40 and they had to stop because she was at her 20minute time limit so they gravity fed the rest
She was also finally put in a cot today I'm so excited!

no news yet as to when she will be home. The eye dr is still concerned about her eyes. The vessels have not grown all the way yet. So until her eye tests are able to be every 2 weeks they won't even ship her to the hospital in my city. But she is getting closer and closer
