What do you put in your toddlers sandwiches, and do you use butter?

I never give Caitlyn butter unless she's having toast, I don't put it on my sandwiches so I just don't put it on hers. Is it better for them to have butter?

My two have tuna, cheese or ham on their sandwiches. I do put low salted butter on their sandwiches though, I'm not sure if its better for them or not its just what we do with ours lol.

Gabriel wont take cereal for breakfast so i have started giving him toast, I use a cookie cutter to maked 'shapes' like stars or hearts and spread jam or peanutbutter (both with butter :)
I put butter on cos i figure he needs the fat?

Cheese, ham, egg, tuna, chicken, hummus etc - pretty much anything I would have on my own sandwiches really.

I put butter on - at this age, they need the fat & calories.

i use butter on toast and sandwiches for aly, i think it would be pretty dry for her otherwise

zane has tuna ans sweetcorn in pitta bread, cheese tomatoe and ham sandwiches with no butter. he used to have jam but doesnt anymore. he also has fajita wraps filled with either just cheese and tomatoe or actualy has fajitas he loves them

We use margerine. Charlie usually has cheese, dairylea or paste. Sometimes he has potted beef or jam but not very often. x

I do put butter in Ben's sandwiches, my health visitor told me that fats are important at his age.

Ben usually has ham, tuna, cream cheese or jam in this sandwiches. Sometimes he will just have bread and butter is he's having soup for lunch.

i have started putting butter in jesses sandwiches now,

his favourites are cheese spread, tuna and sweetcorn, chicken (some times with stuffing) grated cheese and tomatos, and jam, :)

I use margerine on Ollies..
He'l have either cheese, ham, jam, paste and sometimes chicken and beef (not together obviously lol) on his sandwiches!

I put unsalted butter or Flora or creme fraiche in Adam's sandwiches, though if it's a nut butter or Philadelphia sandwich I don't bother.

He has chicken, ham, Philadelphia, peanut butter, pumpkin seed butter, cheese, cheese & tomato puree, egg, fruit spread and houmous.

Ruby doesn't like sandwiches, but if she did, I don't think I'd bother with butter, unless maybe it was a filling that was dry.

Everything and anything , and we use butter.

Butter on a sandwich? Interesting...we don't do that here

Cream cheese and strawberry jam is one of their favorites
peanut butter and honey
peanut butter and banana (sometimes with honey too)
peanut butter and jam/jelly
meats and cheese
cream cheese and avocado
egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad

We do a lot of wraps too

We use lurpack unsalted. Ellis has tuna & sweetcorn, ham, cheese spread, cheese and tomato and Friday is nutella day!

Kaya usually has chocolate spread (nutella) and ham (yes on the same piece!).

We don't butter things here either.. Well I never heard of that until my husband started to put butter on mine, I don't like it!

We do:

Tuna salad
Egg salad
Chicken salad
(When I saw salad, it's mixed with mayo, celeri, green onions, spices)

Tofu and vegetables spread
Hummus spread and sprouts
Tzatziki and chicken
peanut butter & bananas (breakfast sandwich)

That's what comes to mind for now. xx
