Savlon on c-section scar

My c-section scar has now started to weep in places.

I am going to phone the doctor on Monday and make an appointment to get it looked at and get some antibiotics.

In the meantime, am I ok to use Savlon on the affected area?

it wont do any harm hun, sudo cream is good too, try and keep it dry as much as possible

i stuck a pad into the top on my knickers so it was over the scar too, gives a little protection from rubbing and bumps and helps keep it clean and dry

Thanks Hun. I phoned the hospital this morning and they too suggested putting a pad in place

when ive got a free half an hour later I'm going to lie down and expose the area to the air

i have had my c section 5 weeks ago and i have noticed it has weeped in place and a tiny bit of dryed blood. but it kinda looks like its no stuck together properly in a couple of places. what should i do :/
