well i had a scan at 6week 5days and everything was great saw little beans hearbeat but have had the tinest bits of brown cm occasionaly over the last week, just wondering if it could be from the scan as it was internal?

do u think it would be rong to call the epu and ask if i could get another scan due to the spotting as am really worried im gona get to my 12week scan and find out ive had a mmc for some reason. ive already had 2 mcs this year so am worried as anything. just not sure if theyd give me another scan?

x

try not too worry but its best to get it checked out just to set your mind at rest.

I had exactly the same and had a check and it was all fine, generally as long as its not bright red with pain you are ok. Go get it checked though.

Good luck

hugs hun the same thing happened to me with luisa x

speak to your mw they may rescan you x

try not to worry though the chances of anything going wrong once hb has been seen are reduced x

If it was internal they've probably just knocked ur cervix, don't expect it's anything to worry about =)

Can't do any harm to get it checked tho xxx

well i rung the epu and told them bout the brown spotting and i had a tiny bit of red wen i wiped last nite once and this morning once and they just sed spotting is norm if it gets worse then call back, was really hoping they mite give another scan as im really worried.

so just got to wait it out now til my 12week scan which will hopefully be end of this month.

Hey hun, how are you doing?? has it eased up any??

still a little bit of brownish red when i wipe but thats it, not increased or anything so will just hold it out i think for a little bit, jus hoping it doesnt turn out 2 b a mmc wen i get to 12week scan thats wot im worried about. if it gets worse or still there next week im going to ring them back i think. i think if id of told them it was quite a lot they would have scanned me but i didnt want to lie and jinx myself as it really is only tiny bits.

Hey, have you spoken to your midwife as she may be able to get you in for an early scan due to the spotting. Its most likely due to the internal scan which as irritated your cervix but speak to your midwife see what she says.

:hugs:

hiya,

iv been having spotting since just past 12 weeks - mine is caused by a burt blood vessel which they saw at my scan. Spotting is still here nearly 3 weeks later - i rang EPAU 3 times as i am a terrible worrier as we all are PAL and i put my foot down and they are seeing me tomorrow.

I would ring up - explain how anxious you are.

:hugs: i hope it all works out ok.

xx

If they wont agree to scan you, speak to your doctor and get him to refer you back to them for a scan. When i have had spotting my doctor will always agree to refer me to them, i have found the EPU really unhelpful without a referal. Don't wait and worry until 12 weeks. Goodluck.

im going to wait for the weekend then call again monday and see what they say if the spoting is still here. if still no luck with them then i wil speak to my midwife, she should be calling me next week with my scan date and booking in appointment date.

thanks for all the replys everyone
