I have just been diagnosed with a tennis ball size tumour on my liver. I am awaiting the surgeons call to see what is to be done. I think in all fairness my baby days are now over. I am 47 and by the time time I recover I will be too old. I wish you all the very best. If anyone wants to maintain a friendship with me I am on FB, [email protected]. I think I need all the support I can get but away from any talk of TTC which is upsetting as I so desperately wanted just one more baby
hugs
Judy

Oh Judy, what a terrible shock for you, please try to keep a positive outlook for your treatment and recovery - you'll have lots of support.

I saw the surgeon who said he had had a conference that day with 12 other gastroenterologists etc and they all agreed that my abnormality is not a worry. It is a difference in the tissue in that area and should cause no problems or symptoms. He said you are usualy born with them so I told him it wasn't there on a scan in 1999 so he ants to see the scan from then. I'll have to drop it in this week. But he does want a rescan in 6 mths to see if it has grown.
The pain in my rib area is from the asthma and breathing problems but other than that we are cleared to continue to TTC.
On the good side too my FSH is still at 5 and all other fertility tests were normal so still good :)
