As the title says really, she still cant get on the forum either via her laptop or phone, all other pages are working. She has cleared her cookies, cache, history, and form data. She is just restarting her laptop but doesnt hold out much hope, anything else she can do?

I remmber last time was a big update sc said something changes during the update and some isps take a couple of days to pick up on it

Can't be the isps though can it cos she's tried on Gopogle Chrome and I'm on Chrome and mine is fine. Hope it gets sorted out for her xx

No matter what browser she uses her internet service provider will stay same. I think last time sky an virgin were the slowest to update and 'find' bnb x

 thanks for this

I turned the wifi off on my phone and I'm just using the phone net.

Must be to do with sky net maybe? X

Sky will update. Some isp providers do it more frequently than others. I bet by tomorrow itll be fine x

Hope so!
Is it worth ringing sky (or getting hubby to do it after work!) or is there nothing they can do? X

Ooooh thanks for posting, im on sky too and have the same problem, now its making sense. :flower:

Same as FlowerFairy! I've had no probs at all :flower:
Hope it gets sorted for you though

Try flushing your DNS
https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html

If that doesn't work you can use OpenDNS. I use this exclusively instead on my ISP provided DNS servers. It picked up the DNS switch in BnB very quickly.

The problem is that some ISP's are slow to update their dns servers or the old dns is cached in your network settings so when the ip address of a site changes it's not associated with a name.

A couple of mods are having issues as well.

Thank you, I'll get hubby to do that for me later :)

Hi i have tried both those options, they both said it worked but when i try to access i still get the same message that the site is taking too long to repond an it wont open. Would it possibly work if i put the new ip address in and searched that way? if so could you tell me how i get it?.

Thanks for any help.

It's not accessible by ip number

I'm getting frustrated only being able to use my phone :haha:

I tried the flushing thing (which was actually really simple to do, didn't even need hubby's help) and that didn't do anything.
I'm on the open dns site now but it's asking for my full name, home address and number and job which I'm a bit unsure about. Is there a way of getting it without putting all that info in?
Do you think it's worth downloading opera to see if that works or will it be the same?
Thanks for your help :flower:

I'm not very technically minded, but can you switch your router on snd off and see if that works? Or has that been suggested x
