Scan reveals no signs

I posted in first tri..
I had a scan today but the sonographer could see nothing, I'm nearing on 40.. My last miscarriage was in October.
I am 6 weeks, my last pregnancy 2 year ago saw a sac.. Not this one.
She even said it's looking unlikely,they are going to check a ectopic.
Hoping for a answer on Friday

I don't want to give you false hope but when I was 5+ weeks they couldn't see anything either (even with that internal wand thing). I had another scan ten days later and everything was fine. Hoping you're the same as me. Best of luck....

Update.. Had a scan, there is a small sac measures 4mm, I'm 6wk + 3 , the sonographer said the sac did not resemble a pregnancy that is normal.
I've had some bloods taken, so just wait to hear this afternoon what they are.

Oh hun. Keeping all I can crossed. Any chance the date could be off slightly. Fingers crossed the bloods tell you something positive x
