I have my scan tomorrow at 3.10pm and I have got myself in a state, I am so nervous I feel sick. I saw my little baby at 8 weeks but I am really worried that something has gone wrong in between, so many people on here have been for a scan and its all gone wrong recently. I really hope my little baby is ok xx

Hey, I too had a scan at 8 and a half weeks and had my 12 week scan last week. Like you I was soo terrified, but its all about keeping that positive mental attitude.
I'm sure baby is fine and doing well. You will be amazed at how much they have developed since you saw them last.
All the best for your scan tomorrow sweet x

I feel the same. I had a scan at 7+4 and baby was doing really well. Have my 10 week scan on Friday and I'm so worried that something has happened since. I still have my symptoms and have had no pain or bleeding, but still I'm worried.
Hope it all goes well for you and me! x

Good luck with your scan too huni, I too have not had any pain or bleeding, I feel sick sometimes but the constant nausea has passed now but I think that is normal at over 12 weeks. I know this sounds really awful and I will got shot down for this but I wish I had never had a scan at 8 weeks because it really got my hopes up but I have worried ever since, I wouldn't be so worried had I not been told exactly how far along I was now I am worried baby won't have grown or something

I think I will worry no matter what I do! If I hadn't have had an early scan, these last few weeks would have been unbearable. And I was grateful to learn the massive drop in mc rates after a heart-beat has been detected, so that has given me some comfort while waiting for my next scan.

I have read a lot on here about mmc which I had never heard of before. But I need to keep reminding myself that this happens in 1 per cent of pregnancies and the reason we get to read about them so often is that bnb is where people come for help and support in this horrible situation.

I'm sure everything will be fine for us both. Looking forward to reading your update!

Awwww try not to worry! I'm sure everything will be fine hun. Looking forward to seeing your pictures :winkwink:

GOOD LUCK & ENJOY!!!!

I was in your situation! I had a scan at 6w6d and then at 8w6 days. The last 2 weeks i had convinced myself i had a mmc, and that LO would not have a heartbeat! I had planned the messages i was going to send, and was absolutely convinced it was not going to be good news today... But i am just back from 12 weeks scan, they are very happy with how it looks, and its measuring further on than expected! Woo hoo!

I am sure you'll be fine, i think it is our way of protecting ourselves against the possible worse! ✿*゚‘゚・✿ HUGS ✿*゚‘゚*✿
