All afternoon I have been having cramps in my abdomen like Af is coming. In fact the cramps feel like AF is here!

BD'd last night and it did hurt a little too. :(

Is this normal? I am 12DPO and AF is due in 2 days. There is a definite feeling of AF cramps in my abdomen.

Oh I am so scared......I really hope my BFP stays........:hissy:

I cramped quite a bit the first week or so after testing. It's pretty common to have cramping. I believe it's because the egg is burrowing into your uterine wall. And because the hormones. LOL It's always because of the damn hormones! UGH! Is your period late yet? I tested 4 days before my period was due and felt stressed about it until I was finally late. It's like it "seals the deal" when she's late. :hugs:

Thanks Madwolf.....I am not late yet - on CD 30 of a 32 day cycle....or so I think.....since I am not too long off BCP.

I can't wait for those two days to come and be gone!! Want to book an appointment too for my GYNO. Since I had an ectopic before - these cramps really freak me out. I am "trying" to be calm.

I cramped a lot before AF was coming and was sure it was gona come. But it didnt.

I still feel sometimes that she is gona come and never does. Those are normal early pregnancy feelings and I have asked a lot of people about it and even my doctor and always got the answer as "everything is normal, cramps, twingies, low and side cramps, as long as there is no blood!"

:hugs:

your exactly the same stage as me hun i have cramps sometimes too and when we baby danced it hurt to gave me like af cramps i have been scared to do it since

Thanks ladies. It is calming to see your responses. My DH is worried that I am worried.....I better calm down to calm him down!

If it makes you feel better hun, I'm a very high-risk pregnancy. I'm high risk for miscarriage and stillbirth and a bunch of other problems, so I know how you feel! I won't feel better until I get my first sonogram (scan) at the end of this month. But no blood so far, and you have to be calm because stressing can actually cause a miscarriage. So don't worry! Just relax and try to believe that everything will be ok! The sooner you get to your doctor, the better you'll feel! :hugs:

Cramping is totally normal. I have cramped all through my pregnancy, especially when my AF is due each month. I have also noticed I cramp when I need to drink more water than I am. Maybe take a nice warm bath, and see if that helps you relax a bit. The cramping is because your uterus is getting itself ready to make room for the that growing baby. So when I am cramping, I just think 'come on, stretch out, let the little one grow bigger and bigger and bigger!!!'

I was so worried when I found out I was pregnant because of all the cramping but then discovered it was normal. I had cramping for about the first 2 weeks and still get the odd cramp every now and then.

I didn't take a test until AF was late, but that's because I was getting AF cramps that had me running to the toilet, tampon in hand. It's normal...just annoying and scary.

I've been cramping a lot, especially in the evenings, nothing to strong but AF type cramps. My Dr. said that it's fine unless they get really painful or bleeding accompanies them. I think it's like the others said, your little one's just burrowing into your uterus!

af symptoms and early preg symptoms can be very similar i thought af was coming coz i felt the same but in fact it didnt come and i was pg i also tested b4 i missed but only by a couple days i tested again day af was due and lines were darker hope u can feel relaxed soon xxx

AF cramps are normal much to my discust lol Not only now but through your pregnancy. The first tri was the worst for me I think. :hugs:
