Scared i'm gonna miscary again :(

I started to have brown spotting on mon morning, so i phoned the midwife and she got us a scan for yest, at the scan we seen the baby, it was measuring the correct dates that i had and we seen a heartbeat, and we got told everything was good and not to worry about the brown spotting, but i still have it and it seems darker, i was due on for my 2nd period yest and my mam said it could of been that, but i don't know. I just have this feeling it's gonna turn out bad, last time when i m/c at 8-9 weeks we didnt have the chance to see the baby on the scan coz i lost it the night before but obv the baby must of had a heartbeat for it to grow to 8 weeks. i'm just really worrying and i know the scan doesnt mean i wont miscarry

Hun, I had terrible cramping and a brown discharge for about 2 days when my 2nd missed period was due and i was terrified.

Its perfectly natural around the time your period was due.

I hope it is just that and nothing bad's going to happen but i guess we'll just have to wait and see

Spotting when your af is due is very normal.

It is normal and not always a signal of problems - unfortunately after a mc that is the first thing you think of - try not to worry, keep and eye on it and keep in touch with dr and epu - any change they can have another check to ease your mind.

I've read that spotting like that is totally normal. I know it's natural to worry when you've had a bad experience before, but try to stay positive.

Brown bleeding is old blood and very common so if you've seen the heartbeat since its probably fine. Good luck with your pregnancy x x

Thanks everyone so far this morning it's stopped and looks like i've got normal white/yellow coloured discharge, so i think i'm just gonna put it down to the 2nd missed period little bleed for now lol.

That's good news....I am in the same boat as you....saw the heartbeat last time so it doesn't feel much of a comfort to see it this time as you know you lost the baby after this point. I too am worrying myself silly. I guess there is nothing that will make us feel better for another 7 months! Hell, eh?
