Well I told my husband to leave this morning and without a word he packed his clothes an left.
We have been arguing for months even more since ds was born. I love him but he's become so lazy and not supporting me in the way I need. I ended up shouting at him everyday for leaving dirty clothes, empty food packets everywhere and being constantly to busy watching tv on playing on his phone to pay attention to our kids. When I tell him I'm fed up he just laughs. I had enough of having to act like a mother to him and I don't want my kids seeing us shout all the time.

Now I'm scared that I won't cope on my own with the kids especially my daughter as shes a real daddy's girl. And no idea how I will cope financially. I'm on maternity leave till October so only getting £124 a week. We are getting joint tax credits. Now he doesn't live here do I cancel our joint credits and start a new claim for just me. What else will I be entitled to benefit ect now I'm a single mum.

:hugs: You'll cope fantastically, you've been doing it with all along with DH to cope with too!

I don't know what benefits you're entitled to, but definately ring them and let them know you're single as I'm sure you would be entitled to more!

you will be fine, could have written half of that myself so i know how you feel!
If it helps, im scared too but we'll cope cos we have to xx

Big :hugs: You'll need to let tax credits know you are now single, my mum had to do this when she left her ex. Don't know if you rent but if you do, you should get help with your rent and council tax.. If you aren't claiming wtc, you may be able to get income support.

Hope this helps hun.

xx
